Nakshatra is divided into 3part based on the Gender of nakshatra. We frequently use the gender of nakshatra to assume the nature, behaviour and gender of kids.  

3 types of Nakshatra according to Gender

  • Male – Ashwani, Punarvasu, Pushya, Hasta, Anuradha, Shravana, Purva Bhadra, Uttara Bhadra

  • Female – Bharani, Kritika, Rohini, Adra, Ashlesha, Magha, Purva Phalguni, Uttara Phalguni, Chitra, Swati, Vishaka, Jyeshta, Purva Ashadha, Uttara Ashadha, Dhanishta, Revati

  • Neuter – Mrigashira, Mula, Shatabhisha

Use of Gender of Nakshatra

The gender of Nakshatra will use to determine the gender of kids. If the causative planet is placed in male nakshatra then a chance of boy kids will be high. If causative planet for kids placed in female nakshatra then chance of girl kids will be high. Neuter nakshatra will cause problems in childbirth.  

In the same ways, Male nakshatra will be hard-hearted and Female nakshatra will be soft in nature. Neuter nakshatra will be extremely harsh in nature.

Limitation of Gender of Nakshatra

As we know that Planet has specific Gender and a Sign has also specific gender based on odd and even numbers. Today we learn about the Gender of Nakshatra. So, 1st you need to keep this point in your mind that gender of planet has a high impact in comparison to the Sign and the Gender of the sign has more importance than the gender of Nakshatra.

Means impact of Gender will have less importance. That’s why in most cases we can ignore the gender of Nakshatra.
