10th house is known as the house of profession. Saturn is the karaka planet for Profession. As per Vedic astrology, any house results will be determined by PAC (Position, Aspect & Conjunction) theory.

Via astrology, we can only find his natural inclinations towards any occupation. There are no definite astrological factors that can be fixed for each profession.

Decision of Profession Based on K.P. Method
As per me, the K.P. method is best for decoding any timing of events. The profession of the native is general prediction.
- Either native maybe grow good during dasha or suffer in current dasha. S
- uch types of things may be predicted very well with the help of the K.P Method.
- Personally, I don’t use the K.P. method to decide the profession.

Actually, the K.P. method focuses on current dasha to decide the Profession. If the Current dasha is associated with the number 11 then dasha is good for the Profession. As per the K.P. method, Sub lord of 10th house cups will be indicating the profession of Native.

- Any planet conjunct with Saturn will influence the profession as per their own significance.
- Planet which is trine from Saturn will also influence the profession of Native.
- Saturn will be also getting influenced by a planet that is placed 7th from Saturn.
- Depositor sign of Saturn will also give influence the profession of Native.
All above are the prime matters to decide the profession of Native. But some other factors may also influence the profession of Native.
- Planet placed 2nd and 12th from Saturn.
- The sign where depositor lord of Saturn placed in the birth chart.
- 10th house from Saturn will also give an influence on the profession of Native.
We use all the above Sutra to decide the profession of Native. In Bhrigu Nandi Nadi we used the relationship combination to predict the profession of Native.
Role of Ashtakvarga to decide the profession of Native
The planet which has a higher individual Ashtakvarga in the natal chart will give an indication about the profession of Native. At least we take two consecutive higher planets to know the profession of Native.

The planet which has the highest Shadbala in the birth chart will decide the stream of profession where natives can get good success in their life.
Use of Root number & Fortune number in the Profession
Fortune number is indicating the luck of Native. If Native will do profession related to their Fortune number, then Native will get good growth in their profession.
Root number is related to the natural interest of the native. If Profession is also related to Root number, then natural interest to the native will be also supporting their Luck.
