9th house is bhavat bhavam house for 5th house. So, the 9th house will be considered as supportive bhava for kids.
In our Vedic astrology, 2nd house is known as the family house. Children will be our family members. So, 2nd house will be the secondary necessary supportive house for kids.
The 11th house is the house of desires or fulfilment of any matters. When we used the K.P. technique for predicting the timing of childbirth then the 11th house will play important role in prediction.

6th, 8th & 12th house is dusthan or worst house in astrology. So, the 6th, 8th, 12th will be hurdle creators for children. The 12th house will be 8th from the 5th house, that’s why the 12th house will be capable to play more dangerous roles related to children.
Importance of 10th house in child astrology
10th house doesn’t have a direct relation with kids. But 10th house is correlated with Kriya Karma of the father (holly ritual followed by the death of father). In our Vedic culture, Son has rights to give ritual fire after the death of the father.
When the 10th house will be strong in the horoscope then definitely native has a son, who will give ritual fire to his father after his death.
So, the 10th house will be playing the role of hope regarding children when others’ significance will be in denial mode for kids.
