The famous astrologer B.V.Raman sir said that we have to look at the condition of the 5th house & 5th house lord from the Lagna chart, Moon chart & Jupiter chart. So, all of the below points will be applicable on 5th house lord from Lagna, Moon & Jupiter.
- When the 5th house lord is placed in Kendra or trine house then such placement of 5th house lord is considered best for kids.
- 5th house lord placed in 2nd & 11th house is also considered good for kids. Placement of 5th house lord in 3rd is also considered good.
- But the placement of the 5th house lord in the 6th house, 8th house & 12th house is not considered good for kids.
- 5th house lord is associated with Rahu & Ketu is not considered good for kids.
- When the 5th house lord is associated with Saturn then cause a delay in childbirth. So, when the 5th house lord conjunct with Saturn then not considered good.
- If 5th house lord is associated with the natural beneficial planet, then consider good for children.

- When the 5th house has a naturally beneficial planet or has aspects of a naturally beneficial planet then consider it good for kids.
- The 5th house doesn’t occupy by dusthan lord (6th, 8th,12th house lord) or doesn’t aspected by dusthan lord.
- If the 5th house has occupied via natural malefic planet then not considered good for kids.
- 5th house doesn’t occupy by any combust planet.
Importance of Jupiter in the horoscope for children
Jupiter is a natural karaka for children. For the best astrological condition for Kids, Jupiter must be well placed in the chart. If the below conditions will be full filled then we can say Jupiter is best placed in the chart for kids.
- Jupiter is placed in either its own sign or exalted sign or friend sign in the chart.
- Debilitated Jupiter is not considered good for kids.
- Natal Jupiter must have more than 4 AV in the Jupiter ashtakvarga.
- The sign where Jupiter is placed must have more than 28 AV.
- 5th house from Jupiter must be well placed in the chart.
- The points in the 5th from Jupiter in the ashakvarga chart of Jupiter will indicate the number of possible kids. So, the number giving planet for Jupiter must be well placed in the chart.
Importance of Ascendant in the chart for children
When 1st house lord is conjunct with 5th house lord and well placed then consider good for kids. Lagna or Lagna lord associated with any house or house lord then improving positive significance of that house.
Well placed 10th house lord is considered auspicious for becoming the father of a son
10th house belongs with Kriya Karma of the father (holly ritual followed by the death of father). In our Vedic culture, Son has the right to give ritual fire after the death of the father. When the 10th house will be strong in the horoscope then definitely native has a son, who will give ritual fire to his father after his death. So, well placed 10th house lord is considered auspicious for children.
Don’t forget the role of Venus, Mars & Moon
Sometimes, due to over-excitement we forgot the basic biology and ignored the role of Venus. To become a father or mother both couples must be sexually fit.
